This study aims to examine undergraduate student perceptions of service dogs and their handlers in shared academic environments, focusing on how peers perceive and react to service dog teams (i.e., service dog + handler) based on the disability-support the service dog provides. In an online survey, you will complete a demographics measure and answer questions relating to your perceptions of service dog teams. Your participation would involve approximately 20-30 minutes of your time.
All willing individuals will be able to participate in the study. However, only undergraduate students over the age of 18 will be included in the data analysis.
This research project has been approved on ethical grounds by the University of Saskatchewan Behavioural Research Ethics Board.
